### West End Healthy Active Living Center March 2025 Calendar Highlights
The West End Healthy Active Living Center, located at 80 Wabash Street in Pittsburgh, PA, has released its calendar of events for March 2025. The center, directed by Julia Heath, provides a variety of activities for seniors aged 60 and older. Programs are designed to promote fitness, creativity, and community engagement. Below are some highlights from the schedule:
**Monday Activities**
- March 3: A "Round Table Discussion" will explore the topic, "How is your Memory?". This will be followed by "Young @ Heart Exercise" and an Easter Centerpiece-making session.
- Additional Monday offerings include puzzle sessions and blood pressure screenings by Pittsburgh Paramedics later in the month.
**Tuesday Activities**
- March 5: Tai Chi with Dr. Liam takes place, followed by a WQED documentary screening of "The Elizabeth Black Story Part I."
**Wednesday Activities**
- CCAC-sponsored Mental Aerobics and Yoga with Patty will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Open puzzles and recreational games like poker are also available.
**Thursday Highlights**
- March 6: The center will host an OPEN HOUSE event with activities such as crafts from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a visit from Mary Ann at 12:30 PM.
**Friday Events**
- The Mayor's Office will be in attendance on select Fridays. Regular programming includes puzzles, games, and community interactions.
The West End Healthy Active Living Center's programming aims to provide seniors with opportunities to stay active, learn new skills, and connect with others. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, but attendees must pre-register two business days in advance.
