**Aviation History Returns to Pittsburgh at Upcoming Event**

Pittsburgh’s rich aviation history will be brought to life during an event hosted at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Authors Brian Butko and Sue Morris will discuss their newest book, *Bettis: Where Pittsburgh Aviation Took Off*, which explores daring feats during the early days of flight.

Set in the 1920s, the book highlights the lives of men and women who risked and sometimes lost their lives delivering mail, transporting passengers, or performing thrilling aerial stunts at a small airfield outside of Pittsburgh.

The event will take place in the South Wing Reading Room of the library’s Main Branch in Oakland on Saturday, February 8, at 1:00 p.m. Attendees can expect captivating stories detailing the challenges and triumphs of aviation pioneers who helped shape Pittsburgh’s aeronautical legacy.
