**Baseball and Softball Umpires Wanted for 2025 Season in Pittsburgh**
CitiParks - Pittsburgh Parks & Recreation has announced an opportunity for individuals interested in becoming baseball and softball umpires for the 2025 CitiSports/Pittsburgh Pirates-Nike RBI Baseball & Softball Season. The program, in collaboration with MLB’s Reviving Baseball in Inner-Cities (RBI) initiative, seeks to fill umpire positions offering $25-$35 per hour.
There are approximately 500 games available to officiate, and games adhere to specific time limits. Qualified individuals will have their required clearances reimbursed and are invited to partake in training opportunities provided by the program.
The season will culminate with championship games held at PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Those interested in this opportunity are encouraged to contact Chris Scully at (412) 596-1706 for further details.
