Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) is hosting a Minority and Women Business Department's Networking Extravaganza on October 30, 2024. The event will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers, located at 10 S. 19th St., Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in business discussions featuring PPS speakers and special guests. The focus will include topics such as capital projects, diversity compliance, diversity certifications, and sustainability.

Attendees will also learn about significant procurement opportunities, including up to $20 million in grants for construction projects, as well as insights into the Small Business Administration’s certification process and marketing strategies for securing government contracts. Additionally, PNC Bank will announce a Financial Wellness Series aimed at supporting business growth.
