Pittsburgh Announces Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hours

The City of Pittsburgh has announced the trick-or-treat hours for Halloween, which will take place on Thursday, October 31st, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Motorists in the area are urged to be especially cautious on Halloween night, to avoid speeding, and to watch for children trick-or-treating.
The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police has provided several safety reminders for trick-or-treaters:
- Children should not trick-or-treat alone.
- It is advised to walk, not run, and to use appropriate crosswalks and sidewalks.
- Costumes should be bright and colorful or reflective, especially during dark hours, and carrying a flashlight is encouraged.
- Children should stay in neighborhoods they know well.
- They should not accept rides from strangers or enter homes of individuals they do not know.
The city aims to ensure a fun and safe Halloween for everyone.
